About Our 2020 Outing

The 2020 Western PA Wounded Heroes Fund Golf Classic was held September 21. We had 40 golf groups on the course at Allegheny Country Club, and we raised over $100,000 for our military families!
Not only did we have excellent weather, two of our golfers had a hole-in-one at the Par 3 8th hole, and they were in back-to-back groups! Both winners donated their prize, a new vehicle donated by Wright Automotive, to a local veteran.

Austin’s Military Playrooms

An initiative of the Mario Lemieux Foundation, Austin’s Military Playrooms are cheerful playrooms for children and families of our veterans and active duty warriors. The playrooms provide a safe, calming and comfortable environment within military medical facilities for our special military families. Austin’s Playrooms allow families the ability to escape the burden of difficult or often extended medical situations and focus on health and healing. Austin’s Military Playrooms are currently operating in three locations: Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton and Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune.
