We’ve had so many great partnerships over the past 30 years, including our most recent collaboration with local radio station, 105.9 the X, and Helltown Brewing, who came together to bring the Pittsburgh community X-Out Cancer IPA!
The X-OUT CANCER Campaign was introduced in October 2022 and wrapped up the last week of December with a party at the Helltown’s Strip District location. Available at local distributors, bars, and the four Helltown locations, part of the proceeds from beer sales went to the Mario Lemieux Foundation to support our cancer research and patient care initiatives. At the end of the campaign, over $4,000 was raised for the Foundation!
The X is the flagship radio home of the Pittsburgh Penguins, so hockey fans already know the station’s dedication to the team. And in the spirit of Le Magnifique, Mario Lemieux, a Hodgkin’s survivor, they wanted to give everyone a fighting chance against one of the biggest battles of their lives.
X-OUT IPA was brewed and double dry-hopped with Amarillo, Citra, Mosaic, and Centennial hops for bright orange, grapefruit, and berry notes that finish smooth at 4.9% ABV.
