About Club 66
Club 66 is way for young professionals in the Pittsburgh region to get involved with the Mario Lemieux Foundation. It’s a fun way to support cancer research, patient care and Austin’s Playrooms. The Mario Lemieux Foundation hosts several Club 66 events per year, including the Club 66 Golf Classic, networking events, Pens watch parties and other great activities. Meet new people, enjoy unique volunteer opportunities, and attend events designed for young professionals, all for a great cause!
Hillman Blanket Program
Club 66’s main initiative has been the blanket program at UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. Every new patient that gets treated at the Mario Lemieux Center for Blood Cancers at Hillman now receives a specially created Mario Lemieux Foundation blanket with a note from Mario Lemieux. Since 2020, Club 66 has raised enough money to give over 1,000 patients a blanket!
Club 66 Golf Classic
Join young professionals for a day of golf, networking and raising funds and awareness for the Mario Lemieux Foundation. Get your team together, then enjoy a fun, relaxed round at the beautiful Diamond Run Golf Club, while supporting a great cause!
