Over 380 guests joined the Mario Lemieux Foundation at The Westin on Wednesday, May 15 for the 25th annual Austin’s Playrooms Lunch and Fundraiser presented by Highmark. The event, which is the main fundraiser for the Foundation’s Austin’s Playrooms, raised nearly $200,000.
Austin’s Playrooms, an initiative created by Nathalie Lemieux, provide a safe, fun, and engaging atmosphere for kids while their families focus on health and healing in the face of difficult medical challenges. Thanks to this annual event, the Lemieux Foundation currently has 44 Playrooms established across the United States with many more to come!
