Mario Lemieux

Mario Lemieux played for the Pittsburgh Penguins for 17 seasons between the years of 1984 and 2006. In 1993, he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease, the same year he created the Mario Lemieux Foundation. After a successful battle, he is now cancer free. He is now the co-owner and chairman of the Pittsburgh Penguins. Learn more about Mario here.
