Pens Charity Game Raises Over $2.3M

Penguins Charity Game Raises Over $2.3M for Lemieux Foundation and Penguins Foundation!

Thank you Penguins fans for another unbelievable Penguins Charity Game on AT&T SportsNet!  During the Penguins-Capitals game last night, Pens fans purchased 5,000 Penguins Charity Bags and raised over $2.3 million for the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation and the Mario Lemieux Foundation!

Each season the Mario Lemieux Foundation and Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation team up with AT&T SportsNet to give Penguins fans the chance to purchase three types of bags, all stuffed with memorabilia, a signed puck, the opportunity to score a signed jersey and more.  In partnership with local companies, vendors and artists, the 2021 Penguins Charity Bag was inspired by Pittsburgh.  and was filled with items from our Steel City and your very own Pittsburgh Penguins.

Both black and gold bags sold out before the game, and nearly all platinum bags sold out by the end of the game.  A raffle for a platinum bag and an online auction event featuring original artwork for the Charity Bag raised additional funds for both charities.

Charity bags will be shipped in mid-May, and a tracking number will be provided from FedEx to the email address used at the time of purchase.

Thank you to AT&T SportsNet for their continued support of the Mario Lemieux Foundation and the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation, and thank you to everyone who supports this truly unique event!  Let’s Go Pens!
